Steps to Register for CUET UG 2025:


Step 1. Visit the Official Website: Go to exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/.

Complete the Registration Form: Provide personal details, including name, date of birth, email address, and phone number.

Create a Password: Set a strong password for your account.

Step 2. Contact Information Verification: Activate your email id and mobile number by the process of verification

Step 3. Fill Application Form: Fill your educational qualifications, select preferred exam cities, and choose desired courses

Upload documents: Upload a scanned copy of your photograph and signature along with other required documents

Steps 4. Pay the application fee: Use the various online payment facilities available to make the applicable payment

CUET UG 2025 Exam Pattern, Marking Scheme, and Key Details

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2025 is organized by the National Testing Agency or NTA to provide a countrywide entrance to central, state, deemed and private universities, in India for admission. These exams are also designed to deliver a common entrance platform for any student seeking admittance to UG courses across the country.

CUET UG 2025 Exam Pattern:

CUET UG tests three sections comprising language proficiency and domain-specific subjects and general knowledge.

1. Section I: Language Proficiency

Divided into Two Parts: Section IA (13 languages) and Section IB (20 additional languages).

No. of Questions: 40 out of 50 to be attempted.

Time Duration: 45 minutes per language.

Languages Available: English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu (IA). Additional languages like French, German, Sanskrit, etc., in IB.

Objective: Tests reading comprehension, vocabulary, and language skills.

2. Section II – Domain-Specific Subjects

Subjects Offered: 27 subjects that include Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Accountancy, Economics, Business Studies, and many more.

Questions Attempted: 40 out of 50

Time: 45 minutes for each subject.

Objective: The test is aimed at testing the knowledge and comprehension of the core subjects selected by the candidate.

3. Section III – General Test

Questions Attempted: 50 out of 60

Time: 60 minutes

General knowledge, current affairs, numerical ability, logical reasoning, and analytical skills are tested.

Purpose: Tests general awareness and aptitude skills necessary for admission into different courses.

Wrong Answer: -1 mark (negative marking)
